  • The mechanical properties of high-Tc soperconductor YBa2Cu3O7-δ were investigated. The strength and the elastic coefficient of this material at room and liquid nitrogen temperatures were given. The effects of pressure on the mechanical properties of the samples were also studied. These are necessary for the research of superconducting mechanism and applications of this new material.
