Abstract
It it necerrary to analyse the horizontal restraint force of beam an elastic foundation inorder to avoid the cracks of concrete beam due to shrinkage or temperature change. In applying the solution of horizontal displacement of semi-infinite median, compate the horizontal displacement and its function due uniformly distributed horizonal unit forde. The beam is divided into 2n intervals C within which the restraint force assuming uniformly distributed, and then compute the horizontal restraint force by Zemoehkin B. N. method (has-chain method). To facilitate the computation of displacement function, there is table in oppendix in this paper.
