ELASTOPLASTIC ANALYSIS OF UNDERGROUND OPENING OF SHOTCRETE-SUPPORTING BY COUPLING METHOD OF B. E. AND F.E.

  • In this paper calculating principles of elastoplastic analysis of underground opening supporteel by shotcrete under initial field stress by coupling method of B.E. and F.E. are presented, and the calculating formulae are derived. The programme of a computer is compiled according to the principles and formulae as mentioned in this paper. The stability of underground opening has been analyzed in the computing example. The shoterete is imitated by F.E. and the rock domain in which non-zero inelastic slrains are expected to develop is handled by B.E. The general integral equation systems are establisheel by making use of continuity conditions of the interface between shotcrete and rock mass. For an perfectly elastoplasie ease the displacements and slresses in rock mass and shotcrete are obtained by iterative computation.
