Abstract
The finite element method and engineering method were used to evaluate stress intensity fuetor of the pressured, autofrettaged cylinders with an axial crack on their external wall in terms of the autofrettaged residual stress solution which was obtained by considering the strain hardening and bauschinger effect. The equation of the engineering method is suitable to various material and overstrain and radii of cylinder.
