Spline Finite point Method in the Statie Analysis of Irregular Thin Plates

As an enlargement of Reference1, the spline finite point formulas for the staic analysis of irregular plates have been developed in this paper, triangular plates, and plates with curvilieal edges. Compared with the finite element analysis, the present method has greatly reduced the computational effort and core requirement, and it can conveniently be carried out on a micro-computer, or a pocket-computer (Such as PC-1500). Desirable accuracy hac been shown in examples.
