EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON NONLINEAR BEHAVIORS AND CONSTRUCTION CONTROL METHOD IN THE PROCESS OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEM TRANSITION OF SELF-ANCHORED SUSPENSION BRIDGE

  • Based on the 1/10 scale down model test of the whole bridge of Liede Bridge in Guangzhou city, this paper investigated the nonlinear behaviors of self-anchored suspension bridge in its process of structural system transformation. The paper presented the development of the tension of hanger and the deformation of main cable, and clarified the goal of construction control in the process of structural system transformation. The construction control method in two construction stages was proposed. The paper analyzed the influence of construction error, and suggested the construction error be controlled and adjusted. Some valuable conclusions were drawn for the design and construction control of the same type of bridge.
